It's been quite the adventure...

But I'm Back From Rwanda

After a month of driving back roads in Rwanda, visiting and encouraging churches, meeting with our LTU partners, staff, and kiddos; and learning how to 'do life' Rwandese-style, I'm back home and resting up.  It's taken me longer than I expected to bounce-back, so I apologize that it's been a while since my last update.  But I wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you!

I have 100s of beautiful pictures that I want to share with you, but I'll be a while still- unpacking it all!  But stay posted, because the next few months there are going to updates and Facebook posts chocked full of the joy, love, and abundant color from this Land of 1000 Hills and its wonderful people.

Brief Report of What Has Happened Lately

During the 30 days that my team and I were working in Rwanda:

  • 1200 children were fed out of the Nutrition Program in the Nyaraguru Church
    • The gummy vitamins -donated from Stonegate Women's Bible Studies in Midland, TX- arrived safely and were distributed with each meal
  • My team and I traveled to and preached at mulit-day Women's Conferences at each of our 4 partner churches
  • We met with all of the Sponsored kids, got updated pictures, handed out the picture Bibles (also from SGW Bible Study groups), and got to meet some of their families
  • I got to see the Nyiramugisha Artisen craftwomen in action, making beautiful handmade jewelry

So stay-tuned!  They'll be more information about each of our programs rolling out in the next few weeks.  But for now, enjoy these pictures and celebrate with us for all that God is doing through your faithful giving and support!
